And the story is actually really good later on in the game. world into new areas and possibilities that I wouldn't have initially associated with the franchise. It might not have the same feel as the first few, but it successfully expands the Oddworld, um. I was a bit burnt out on shooters at the time, and it seemed like too much of a departure from the more "lovable" qualities of the Abe games. I remember when it was being made, I wasn't sure what to think of it. It's essentially an FPS, and your goal for most of the game is collecting bounties. Stranger's Wrath is the black sheep of the bunch, as it isn't solely about solving puzzles. ![]() I never played Munch's Oddysee, so I can't really speak for it, save that it appeared to be just like a fully-3D version of the first two games. Every level is like a big puzzle box, and your main goal is figuring out how to accomplish everything as effectively as possible (many times through trial and error). I generally compare the first two Oddworld games (Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exodus) to games like Flashback, Out of This World, Heart of Darkness, that kind of thing.
